When the ELD Mandate went into full affect Livestock & Insect carriers were deemed exempted from this regulation. This exemption was to be in affect until the end of this fiscal year,
September 30 th , 2018.
The FMCSA recently extended this exemption through December 7 th , 2018 and will remain in place until further notice. Drivers do not need to carry any documentation regarding this exemption.
