2021 Operation Safe Driver is set for July 11-17. Law enforcement will be focusing on speeding.
According to the National Safety Council’s (NSC) estimates that traffic-related deaths have
increased 24% in the past 12-months. This increase is the preliminary estimate even with a 13%
decrease in miles driven due to the pandemic.
Note that even though the focus of this years Operation Safe Driver week is speeding, Law
Enforcement will continue to look for distracted dangerous driving behaviors.
